Mental health challenges can impact all of us. During those moments, we can benefit from seeking support. We all have the capacity to learn and overcome our difficulties. Therapy is a learning experience where we pay attention to our behaviors and internal dialogues so that we can refine them. Therapy can add to our capacity to adapt, and expand our strategies for solving problems. We can confront what we have typically avoided, in a safe and reaffirming environment where science-based interventions can help you create a more satisfying life.

I believe that empathy and compassion tempered with evidence-based interventions can help you develop the coping skills that move you closer to your goals. I have expertise working with adolescents and adults with a wide variety of mental health and life concerns. I believe tailoring treatments to each person’s unique life history and circumstances is essential to creating the opportunity to grow and change. I offer client-centered services that are in tune with your needs. One size does not fit all in therapy, and I do not rigidly follow treatment manuals or attempt to bend persons to a single model of therapy. Evidence based treatments require thoughtful calibration and attunement to your situation. Clients are people, not numbers or abstractions. I look forward to learning your story.
